I've been a loyal customer of fashion nova since they first started their buisness clothes has always fit right and never had any complaints. I loved fashion nova so much I would rave and tell my friends and co workers to purchase from them because it's such a great company. I recently had a baby which means my body changed and obviously my sizing isn't what it used to be. I ordered 2 item from fashion nova, I made sure I looked at the size chart to ensure my clothing pieces would fit. When I received my items I took them out of the sealed plastic bag it came in and just by looking at the items and the material it came in I KNEW the items would not fit. So I went to fashion nova.com followed the returned procedures, I got provided a shipping label which by the way I payed an additional 9$ for and sent them as instructed.
Well after 2 weeks I did not hear back from fashion nova so I went out of MY way and took ADDITIONAL time to contact fashion nova myself to get an update on my return. This is immoral for a company to do and it's called STEALING from a PAYING CUSTOMER. Instead of returning the items BACK you decide to TAKE my money and just apologize? I've never had such a horrible experience with ANY company before and I've purchased and returned with other competitors before and never experienced this type of disrespect.
As a long time customer for over 8 years from fashion nova and bringing buisness to this Company I will never be doing buisness here again. Therefore the package should have gone out Tuesday May 29th to be received Today May 30th since Monday was a holiday. I paid $15 extra to have my package delivered express mail. Instead Fashion Nova did what they wanted to do and sent my package regular shipping and now I won't have it until June 2nd. These Items were for a trip I am going on tomorrow for a graduation gift and now I don't have the outfits that I wanted to take on the trip with me.
This is a huge inconvenience and what really pisses me off more is that they refused to refund me my money and/or reship the items I purchased to the address I will be at on vacation overnight. Then when I got back I would send the Items that are being shipped to my house back to them. They gave me a code for 30% off and told me that if I didn't want the items when I got them to just send them back for store credit. Why in the world would I want to spend anymore money with this company when you ruined my trip because of your workers lack of compentence to make sure that items are being shipped out properly.
I basically have to pay for a mistake this company made twice because now I have to go shopping again and pray I find something. While they keep my money and send me items that will be useless by the time I get them because, my vacation will be over. I placed a $225 order upon receiving and checking my order I realized I was missing items so I immediately called fashion nova the call center was closed so I emailed them. Absolutely BS that a company can scam their customers the way they do.
I placed an order July 3rd which was supposed to be delivered by the 12th and didn't find out that my order was "damaged en route to the shipping carrier" until I tracked my package through the shipping carrier. Fashion nova's website STILL to this day does not state that there is any issue with my order. I had contacted fashion nova directly and they basically told me they can't do anything until they receive the package back and then it would take 5-7 business days to credit my account. I was not happy with this resolution seeing as I placed my order during a sale and the price of my cart would be double what I paid.
It is now September 14th and my account has not been credited and they rejected the dispute I tried to file with my credit card company on August 23rd. They have practically "stolen" $350 from me and there is nothing I can do about it. I wish I never placed an order with this sketchy company. I am writing this due to a series of unfortunate events when ordering through your company. I absolutely love the style and quality of the clothing you provide, however, my ordering experiences have been nothing but disappointing.
The first incident I would like to bring to your attention has to do with the order I placed on September 14, 2018. When creating this order I had purposely added more things that I didn't need to my cart to reach the $75 free shipping promo that the site offers. I received the order in a reasonable amount of time and absolutely loved the fit and quality of all of the items except for one, in which came in damaged.
The pleather crop top that I had bought to match a skirt in the same order for an event I was attending had come in with damage due to a packaging error. The plastic bag that each individual item is placed in had been sealed onto the shirt. When I opened the seal it tore off the leather finish and was visibly ruined. When contacting your customer service via email, I was told that my only option was to purchase another shirt. I had not been given a refund, and the option to exchange it for a new one was not made available.
Instead I was given a 20% off promo code and a 30% off shipping code; both of which couldn't be used together when placing the order again myself. When I originally purchased the shirt I paid $10.39 with my own coupon and the free shipping I got for spending over $75. In the event that I tried ordering another one, I was still going to be paying $15 and up for the same shirt in which I had already paid $10.39 for. I went back and forth with customer service multiple times until I finally gave up because nothing was being resolved or understood. I ultimately had to purchase a new outfit from a local store for the event and still have the damaged shirt sitting in the bag in my closet.

The FTC further alleged that the retailer failed to refund customers for items that were not shipped, issuing gift cards instead. Under the Rule, a seller's refund obligations are enumerated based on the buyer's method of payment.
For nonenumerated payment methods, sellers can provide refunds in the form of cash, check or money order, or sellers can provide refunds using the same method that the customer used. Offering a gift card or store credit is not considered a refund under the Rule. I loved them until recently 🙁 They didn't send a dress I ordered and when I contacted Ariel in customer service, I was told it sold out. I said it wasn't a courtesy if I didn't get what I ordered.
Then, they told me it did ship out according to their records, so the "courtesy credit" was a one time deal. Also, I ordered over $75 to get the free shipping, and now I have to pay shipping and the difference for a replacement dress in a completely different style. Left a really bad taste in my mouth even though I love their clothes.
The Federal Trade Commission ruled on Tuesday that Fashion Nova is required to pay $9.3 million in consumer settlement fees for violating the agency's mail order rule on shipping and refund protocols. Lasership and Fashion Nova are thieves, more so Lasership. On June 8th I received an email saying that my package was delivered and was left at the front porch, but nothing was there and my neighbors didn't see my package. I tried contacting fashion nova and their policy states that you have to wait 10 days from the day that the package was delivered to make a complaint, so I did.
I then messaged them and they told me to contact the shipment company, so I did. They told me they were going to investigate the whereabouts of my package within 2 business days. So I thought that not all was lost but I was wrong. And what doesn't make sense is that the tracking information says the shipment company received my packed at 10am in the morning and literally a minute later they brought my package, which is not true Bc they didn't even ring my bell.
As of late fashion Nova customer service shipping fulfillment and consumer relations has been a deplorable example of fair business practices. I have made numerous phone call and email attempts to contact the company that has only shipped and fulfilled part of my order and then issued a gift card for items that are still available via their consumer website. This company is simply stealing from its consumers. I will be contacting consumer relations the Better Business Bureau and an attorney.
Reading all these comments I feel sorry for you guys!! I don't think it started out that way but they're a hit or miss company. They hardly refund money only giving store credit hoping when you use it you'll go over the credit, spending MORE money with them. If orders are late it's most likely one of the pickers threw your order away!! This happens a lot because they're over worked in a sweatshop type of environment, IN LOS ANGELES at that!!! You may receive DIRTY/WORN items because all these people you see saying they returned their items… The items WILL BE RESOLD!!
Some items have period blood, vaginal discharge and other nasty stuff and they still resale it! The owner tries to give good customer service but it's management! These people truly don't care and I believe are trying to ruin this man.
I got an email saying the missing 3 items where out of stock now… but how is that my fault when I made the purchase while those items were in stock… I am so dissaponted because still I have not received no type of help what so ever. After that I made two seperate orders on fashion nova and I haven't gotten shipping information on neither one it's been a week since those orders have been made. As of today no one from your company has contacted me as of yet and I must say this is unacceptable!
Your company has no issues with taking the money out of customers' accounts but when there's an issue with a customer no one responds to it and you send out auto replies! At this point I don't even want the store credit anymore and want a full refund! I was a 1st time customer and unfortunately a last time customer.
If I do not receive a full refund for the items I returned to your company then I will call my bank and retrieve it that way. You can void out the e-gift cards because I no longer want to purchase anything from a company that does not value it's customers. As everyone else my Package was returned but no refund or giftcard. Customer service does not care about the customer, this is my first time shopping on this website and is my last. I try to encourage everyone I know not to shop here.
People work hard for their money and you are just stealing from customers smartly. The customer service could not even be bothered to check on the return. It had nothing to do with her, it's the returns department. Fashion nova will someday answer for all their wrong doing. No where during my shopping or checkout did it say that my item was final sale and I do have a screenshot to prove it . The shoes do not fit, I ordered my size and they still are very tight.
Why is it such a hassle to return something I paid for and it did not fit. I shouldn't have to contact customer service 4 times for this. If I knew any of the item was final sale I wouldn't have gotten it. I wanted to use the 40% off but code but then the system somehow didn't apply it and I was charged full price.
I tried to cancel or modify my order within seconds after receiving the confirmation email. The quality is not the best and then You have to pay for returned items and they won't give you your money back, only credit. I don't care how many "influencers" wear their clothes, this type of customer service is horrible. "The same rules that we have enforced for nearly 50 years against catalogers and other mail-order companies also apply to online sellers," Andrew Smith, director of the FTC's Bureau of Consumer Protection, said in a press statement. "Online retailers need to know that our mail order rule requires them to notify customers in the event of shipping delays and offer the right to cancel with a full refund—not just a gift card or a store credit."
Complaints sent with proven evidence that I am missing an item. I've been in contact with someone from facebook messenger. I made another purchase with the other returns I received credit from, but did not receive a confirmation number.
If no solutions arise, I will make further action for fraud. You don't make business by stealing money from customers. Looking at these other complaints proves that I am clearly not the one dealing with poor service. They would not grant me a refund because it was delivered to "someone". My friends had warned me prior to ordering about them and their clothes and I failed to listen.
They get their business by customizing outfits for celebrities and giving hem A1 service but send their non celebrity customers the cheap mill clothes and treated them without regard. I got the same exact response you did that they could not do anything. The second incident I would like to discuss occurred with the order I placed on October 17th, 2018.
I placed this order despite the bad experience on the first one. Once again I ordered over $75 worth of merchandise to get the free shipping. I had specifically ordered to full outfits, one of which I needed for Halloween and the other a matching set for New Years. When placing this order, I had not been made aware of the switching of distribution centers nor had I been aware that my order would be delayed. After about two weeks I became nervous that my order had been lost or stolen and reached out to customer service to receive tracking information.
It wasn't until then that I was informed that there was going to be a delay, and when I was it was through a mass produced newsletter with no specific response to me or my order. I had already missed Halloween but still looked forward to the New Year's outfit and patiently waited for it to come in. On November 16, 2018 my order had finally been delivered.
Missing all of the items except for the two things I no longer needed that was for Halloween. I just wanted to make a return and I was told I had to wait in the long line of people that were there to walk around and shop. I understand that due to Covid things are limited but the manager Desiree was rude and snippy about it. She could've just taken my receipt with the 2 items I needed to return while I waited outside.
